The adoption of the euro will increase trust in Bulgaria, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov said during an information meeting here on Friday, part of the National Information Campaign on the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria.

The Minister said the euro is one of the dominant currencies worldwide. “For the entire world, the euro is a symbol of stability and security. Everyone recognizes and trusts this currency. There is no institution that would refuse to exchange it,” Karadjov commented. He added that for Bulgarian families, the euro will bring peace of mind, while for businesses it will provide greater predictability.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Lozana Vasileva also took part in the meeting.
