site.btaSerbia to Lift Minimum Wage to EUR 551 as of Jan. 1


The Serbian government has increased the minimum wage by 10.1% to EUR 551, or RSD 64,554, from January 1, 2026, state broadcaster RTS reported on Thursday.
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali announced on Tuesday after the regular meeting of the Social and Economic Council, which brings together representatives of the government, employers and trade unions, that a decision would be taken at Thursday’s government meeting to increase the minimum wage to EUR 551 from January 1, RTS said.
Monthly minimum wages in Serbia are typically increased each January, but this year, by exception, the minimum wage will be raised by 9.4%, from EUR 450 now to EUR 500, from October 1, Serbian media report.
