Wild Horse in the Rotten West directed by Mina Mileva and Vesela Kazakova has been selected among 40 fiction and documentary projects to be presented at the Venice Gap-Financing Market. The event is part of the Venice Production Bridge at the forthcoming 82nd edition of the Venice International Film Festival, the Bulgarian National Film Centre reported here Wednesday.

The Venice Gap-Financing Market will take place from August 29 to 31, 2025, with this year’s focus countries being the United Kingdom, Chile, and Morocco.

Wild Horse in the Rotten West is a co-production between the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, and France, and is included in the special VPB Focus: United Kingdom section, alongside 39 other titles.

The project’s participation in the forum is an important recognition for Bulgarian film professionals and offers opportunities for new partnerships and international financing, the National Film Centre commented.
