The sixth Toplo Fest takes place from Friday to Sunday, the centre for contemporary arts Toplocentrala, which hosts the forum, reported. The programme inspired by water will include music, a circus show, educational modules, a children's theatre programme, a planetarium and workshops appropriate for all age groups.

The team behind the festival said: "Water is a source of life, a force for change, a precious resource, a natural element and creative inspiration. The theme of this year's festival is water as a natural element and at the same time as a cultural, social and environmental symbol. The festival aims not only to create a space for artistic dialogue but also to draw attention to the need for sustainability, awareness and care for water resources."

In the afternoon of June 27, a creative workshop for children from vulnerable groups will take place. The programme on the first day of the festival includes films about space screened at the planetarium, a children's show, High Tea With A Twist by Levantes Dance Theater and a film screening in collaboration with the Rivers of Sofia Fest.

June 28 kicks off with a children's performance by the Art Bureau Foundation. Later, a workshop will take visitors to the river to introduce them to an interesting photographic technique that relies on water. There will be circus and children's workshops, performances, concerts and a fire show.

On June 29, visitors will enjoy performances, a circus workshop, an educational workshop about water, animation and puppeteering workshops, and performances.
