The mountains offer very good hiking conditions, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross told the Bulgarian News Agency on Monday.
The weather is sunny and calm, a light wind is blowing in the area of Botev Peak in the Balkan Mountains.
MRS teams participated in two actions on Sunday:
A 53-year-old woman with a sprained ankle was rescued from the Rai Hut by rescuers from Kalofer.
In another action, in the area of Ismailitsa Peak in Rila Mountains, an MRS team helped to find an 80-year-old woman lost in the area.
