With the start of the peak summer season in 2025, Varna Airport has inaugurated its first-ever charter route to the Moldovan capital Chisinau, the operator of Varna and Burgas airports, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD, said on Friday.

Flights on the new route will be operated by SkyUp Airlines at the request of the Bulgarian tour operator Noy Travel. The service will run every Saturday starting from June 7, 2025, on the Chisinau – Varna – Chisinau route.

SkyUp Airlines also said that the carrier already operates flights from Burgas Airport to Poland, including a newly launched regular line to Katowice every Thursday, along with charter flights to Warsaw and Poznan.
