site.btaMRF – New Beginning Leader Peevski Meets with Mayors of Ardino and Momchilgrad

The New Beginning for Regional Development strategy unites in the name of the people. With this message, the municipalities of Ardino and Momchilgrad joined the New Beginning initiative during a meeting between Izet Shaban, Mayor of Ardino, and Ilknur Kyazim, Mayor of Momchilgrad, with Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski. The announcement came from the party’s press center on Tuesday. 

Also present at the meeting was Ersin Yumer, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Momchilgrad and head of the local MRF organization.

The decision for the mayor, municipal councilors, and all village and settlement mayors to join the strategy was made by the MRF municipal organizations and the Youth MRF in Ardino and Momchilgrad. 

At the meeting, the mayors of Ardino and Momchilgrad expressed the commitment of their local structures to this effort so that residents in their municipalities can see fulfilled promises, implemented priorities, and policies that truly work for the people. 

Peevski emphasized his full support and pledged to work together to implement the strategy. “People in every Bulgarian municipality deserve their new beginning—a better life, higher standards, security, and stability for regional development,” Peevski stated.
