Parliamentary Culture and Media Committee Chair Toshko Yordanov (There Is Such People) called on the Director General of the Bulgarian National Television (BNT), Emil Koshlukov, and the Director General of the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR), Milen Mitev to respond within a few days what optimizations can be made in the two media. The support of the two directors general must be purely political, Yordanov pointed out. “If they have the political support for such urgent measures, they will do them calmly,” he said.

At the committee meeting on Thursday, Milen Mitev and Emil Koshlukov provided information about current problems in the activities of the BNR and BNT, respectively. The meeting was also attended by members of the Council for Electronic Media (CEM) Simona Veleva, Gabriela Naplatanova and Galina Georgieva.
