site.btaSofia Metro to Continue Operating on May 16

The metro will not suspend its operating mode and will continue to support the transportation of passengers during the continued protests of surface public transport in Sofia on May 16, metro operator Metropolitan EAD said on Thursday.

On Friday, May 16, additional metro trains will continue to operate on lines 1, 2 and 4, as well as additional trains on line 3. The reduced train operating intervals on all metro lines also remain in effect.

The management of the capital's metro thanked all employees for the high professionalism in carrying out their daily activities.
