Patriarch Daniil, leader of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church (BOC), received Dimitri Yotef, who chairs the Foundation of the Orthodox Churches of the Bulgarian Exarchate in Istanbul (FOCBEI) and the Foundation of the St George Church in Edirne. FOCBEI Deputy Chair Hristo Kopano and three members of the board of trustees, Bulgaria's Consul General in Istanbul Vasil Valchev, Bulgaria's Consul General in Edirne Radoslava Kafedzhiiska and seven BOC metropolitans were also at the meeting.
