There Is Such a People (TISP) Floor Leader Toshko Yordanov told journalists on Friday, emerging from party consultations with President Rumen Radev and Prime Minister-designate Dimitar Glavchev, that it makes perfect sense to have doubts about party influence in the caretaker cabinet and there is no other way after the changes in the Constitution.

According to Yordanov, these consultations, after the changes in the Constitution, are a demonstration of futility. These "stupid changes" in the Constitution, which were made by GERB, Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, he said. "The biggest blame is exactly on those who were offended and walked out [during the consultations the representatives of CC-DB left the hall]," Yordanov said. "Because of Hristo Ivanov's complexes, they started to change the Constitution," the MP added.

This cabinet is of CC-DB because Glavchev was elected chairman of the National Audit Office with their votes and the changes in the Constitution made him one of the possible candidates for caretaker prime minister, Yordanov said. TISP hope that the Constitutional Court will consider the complaints filed against the changes in the Constitution. If that does not happen, the party will seek a constitutional majority to change the constitutional amendments, he said. "I suppose some lessons will be learned and in the next parliament we will fix the Constitution," Yordanov added.
