An abandon ship drill took place after the Bulgarian naval research ship Sv. Sv. Kiril i Metodii sailed off from the St. Kliment Ohridski Bulgarian Antarctic Base on Livingston Island, part of the South Shetland Islands, before entering the Drake Passage.
