Bulgaria's strategic geographical position and its proximity to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are a prerequisite for increasing trade between the two countries. This conclusion was reached by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bulgaria Khalid bin Kamal Faqih and Prime Minister Acad. Nikolay Denkov in their talks on Tuesday, the Council of Ministers said on its official Facebook page.

Ambassador Faqih praised Bulgarian dairy products and agricultural produce and expressed hope that more of them would reach Saudi tables in the future.

The Prime Minister also pointed to other potential areas of cooperation between Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He gave an example with modern technologies and artificial intelligence. Ambassador Faqih's words made it clear that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will seek to sign an agreement with Bulgaria in the field of artificial intelligence under the Saudi government's Vision2030 strategic framework.
