President Rumen Radev Monday conferred the Order of the Madara Horseman, First Class, on the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Bulgaria, Thabo Thage, for his particular contribution to the development and deepening of bilateral relations.
The Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa was awarded for his contribution to the academic life of the University of Mining and Geology, and for promoting its authority in mid-June.
Thabo Thage has been Ambassador to Bulgaria since September 2019.
