Sofia, September 24 (BTA) - A total of 1,835 new COVID-19 cases were identified by 20,996 tests on Thursday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/ early on Friday. The test positivity rate stands at 8.74 per cent.

Ninety-nine fatalities and 1,055 recoveries were reported. The active cases are 41,752. A total of 4,949 people infected with COVID-19 are hospitalized, of whom 414 are in intensive care.
