Nearly 2,400 employees will be trained to use artificial intelligence and specialized digital tools under the Specific Skills for the Workforce project, funded by the EU through the Human Resources Development Programme, the Labour and Social Policy Ministry’s press service said on Tuesday. The project is implemented by the Employment Agency.

More than 450 employers expressed interest in the project in May. Funding will be provided to 275 applicants to train a total of 2,381 employees. More than EUR 3 million will be allocated for the training, the ministry said.

The Specific Skills for the Workforce project has a budget of more than EUR 13 million.
