The Danube has receded further along its Bulgarian section, the Executive Agency for the Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River said Monday. At Ruse, the river level fell by another 2 cm to 101 cm below the conditional zero level, following a period of stabilization on Sunday.

Across the Bulgarian section, water levels fell by between 2 and 4 cm. The only exception was Novo Selo, where a 2 cm increase was recorded.

All restrictions on vessel navigation remain in force.

River supervision authorities reported no stranded vessels over the past 24 hours.
