site.btaGrigor Dimitrov Receives Cincinnati Masters Wild Card

Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov has received a wild card for the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Cincinnati, tournament organizers announced.

Dimitrov is one of four players awarded wild cards, alongside three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland, former world No. 4 Jack Draper of Britain and former world No. 6 Gael Monfils of France.

Dimitrov returns to Cincinnati as the only wild-card entrant to have previously won the tournament. He captured his only ATP Masters 1000 title there in 2017, defeating Australia's Nick Kyrgios 6-3, 7-5 in the final. This year's tournament will be held from August 13 to 23.

The Bulgarian also received a wild card for the ATP 250 event in Los Cabos, Mexico, after experiencing discomfort in his leg during training ahead of the tournament.
