President Iliana Iotova visited the space centre of Bulgarian aerospace manufacturer EnduroSat, where founder and CEO Raycho Raychev presented the company's research, development, and manufacturing operations at what is the largest space centre in Eastern Europe.

Although EnduroSat has offices abroad, its main research and development hub, full-scale manufacturing, and final flight qualification activities are all based in Sofia, where the company has built an integrated ecosystem of key suppliers and production facilities.

EnduroSat is developing a new class of satellites weighing between 150 kg and 5 t and plans to expand into the defence sector. Among its future projects is the transformation of the former Dobroslavtsi Airport into a large-scale space and technology campus. The company also continues to invest in workforce development through specialized university programmes for space engineers.

Together with the company's management and staff, Iotova watched the launch of 10 satellites designed and manufactured by EnduroSat from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The company has completed more than 100 successful orbital missions and works with leading organizations across the global space industry. The latest mission was carried out aboard a SpaceX launch vehicle.

Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Pekanov also joined Iotova during the visit to EnduroSat.
