A wildfire raging through forest and farmland in central Greece forced evacuation orders for two villages in the area, Ekathimerini.com reported on Wednesday. More than 130 firefighters with 32 engines and 19 water-bombing planes are participating in the firefighting efforts.

There are no initial reports of injuries or damage to property. Tackling the natural disaster is hampered by the strong winds.

While the reason for this particular fire is yet to be clarified, most of Greece’s wildfires are attributed to negligence or malfunctioning power lines.
