Sofia Pride and the Family March will take place in Sofia on Saturday, the Sofia Municipality said, noting that both events have been coordinated with the municipal authorities.

Sofia Pride will be held between 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. A concert is scheduled to take place between 4 pm and 6 pm near the Soviet Army Monument in Knyazheska Garden, on the side facing Gen. Yosif V. Gurko Street.

From 6:30 pm to 9 pm, participants will march along a route using sound-equipped platforms. The procession will move along Gen. Yosif V. Gurko Street, continue left onto Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Boulevard, Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard, Vasil Levski Boulevard, back onto Gen. Yosif V. Gurko Street, then along Georgi S. Rakovski Street, Patriarch Evtimii Boulevard and Vitosha Boulevard, ending near the National Palace of Culture (NDK).

The march will proceed in the far-right traffic lane in the direction of movement. The municipality noted that the event should not disturb residents between 2:00 pm and 4 pm and after 10 pm in open public municipal spaces.

The Family March, described by organizers as a procession and concert in support of the Bulgarian family, will take place between 5:30 pm and 10 pm Participants will gather from 5:30 pm at St. Nedelya Square.

The procession will move between 6:30 pm and 8 pm along the following route: St. Nedelya Square, Vitosha Boulevard, Solunska Street, Angel Kanchev Street, Knyaz Alexander I Street, Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard, Georgi S. Rakovski Street and Oborishte Street, ending at St. Alexander Nevsky Square.

A concert dedicated to the Month of the Family will be held at St. Alexander Nevsky Square from 8 pm to 10 pm on a specially erected stage.
