Russian Drone Attack on Odesa Region Leaves 13 Injured

Russia launched a large-scale drone attack on the Odesa region overnight, leaving 13 people injured, Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration said on his Telegram channel.

“Russians launched a massive drone attack on Odesa. Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in different parts of the city were hit. Apartment blocks, a hotel building and passenger cars were damaged,” Lysak wrote.

All relevant emergency services and medical teams are working at the strike sites.

Operational headquarters have been set up to provide assistance to those affected.

Bulgarians in Odesa Region number more than 150,000 and were the third largest population group in Ukraine in 2001, according to the official census. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
