Candidates from the GERB-UDF list in Varna, on the Black Sea, discussed issues affecting the southern boroughs of the city with residents of Asparuhovo, the coalition's press centre said on Monday.

The meeting was attended by GERB-UDF top-of-the-list candidate in Varna Vladislav Goranov, parliamentary candidates Miroslav Borshosh, Kristian Ganchev and Milena Dimova, MEP Emil Radev, GERB regional coordinator Ivan Portnih and city organization chair Todor Balabanov.

Participants discussed the upcoming elections as well as challenges related to the development of the city's southernmost borough. Residents raised concerns about infrastructure and opportunities for neighbourhood development. The candidates pledged to remain close to citizens and work towards sustainable solutions and long-term results.

The press centre added that Goranov and GERB's Varna regional coordinator Ivan Portnih also met with residents of Valchi Dol, where discussions focused on regional development.

Goranov outlined the coalition's key priorities, including economic stability, infrastructure improvement and creating better conditions for business and investment. Issues requiring consistent policies and effective cooperation between local and central authorities were also discussed.
