In a declaration read from the parliamentary rostrum on Thursday, Velichie Deputy Floor Leader Krasimira Katincharova said that the 51st National Assembly will not be remembered fondly, as it was not only the product of the largest electoral fraud in Bulgaria's recent history, but it also failed to demonstrate the resolve to defend the interests of voters.

Katincharova stated: "This parliament has done nothing to hold those who ran the country accountable, to enact laws that would protect Bulgaria's energy sector, or to hold the executive branch accountable for turning Bulgaria into a playground for business interests, including those of foreign entities." She criticized the "so-called opposition" for failing to cooperate with her party, as doing so "could have led to great deeds".

Velichie slammed the judiciary for selling out Bulgaria's national interests in areas such as the energy sector, the Constitution, the green deal, and the national defence. The declaration concluded: "We do not have statesmen but petty politicians who are selling off our territory and have only one goal: to line their own pockets."
