Special flights operated by the airlines GullivAir and Bulgaria Air, as well as by the State Aviation Operator, have been organized to return Bulgarian citizens from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman on March 4-5.

GullivAir has received the necessary permits to operate a flight to Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai. The aircraft, which has a capacity of 326 seats, will transport Bulgarian citizens who have previously expressed their wish to return to Sofia later on Wednesday. The passenger lists are being compiled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Earlier on Wednesday, a Boeing 737 aircraft operated by Bulgaria Air departed from Vasil Levski Sofia Airport for Salalah International Airport in Oman. The plane is expected to perform the return flight on Thursday, bringing back some of the Bulgarian nationals.

The State Aviation Operator will carry out a flight on Wednesday to Abu Dhabi using the government aircraft, which has a capacity of 90 seats.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications remains in constant coordination with the relevant institutions and airlines to ensure the safe and timely return of all Bulgarian citizens who wish to come back to the country.
