The lowest temperatures in Bulgaria in March will be between minus 7C and minus 2C, Mariyana Popova of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology told BTA on Saturday. The highest temperatures will be between 21C and 26C.
The average monthly temperature in Bulgaria in the next 31 days will be around the month’s norm, which is between 5C and 9C or between minus 8C and minus 2C in the mountains. The amount of precipitation will be around the usual levels, which for March are between 40 and 60 litres per square metre in the lower parts and between 50 and 90 litres per square metre in the mountains, or lower.
During the first 10-day period of the month, the weather will be mostly warm and sunny. Temperatures may reach up to 15C, lower in the plains and on the Black Sea coast, which will see low clouds and fog in the morning. Significant clouds on March 3, 5 and 6 but little to no precipitation.

Variable weather in the second 10 days of the month. Temperatures will be close to or higher than usual. Likely precipitation and lower temperatures in the middle of the period. Variable and sunny weather in the second half of the period. Precipitation likely on March 19.
