The total production index for business services in Bulgaria increased by 2.9% in November 2025 compared with October 2025, according to preliminary and seasonally adjusted data from the National Statistical Institute. The total production index for business services increased by 9.8% in November 2025 compared with November 2024 on a calendar-adjusted basis.

Business services include the following sectors: transportation and storage; accommodation and food service activities; information and communication; real estate activities; professional, scientific and technical activities; and administrative and support service activities.

On a monthly basis, growth was recorded in the following sectors: administrative and support service activities (9.0%), professional, scientific and technical activities (6.2%), information and communication (4.7%), and transportation and storage (1.7%). By contrast, output declined in real estate activities (9.8%) and accommodation and food services (1.2%).

Looking at the annual changes across sectors, production growth was driven by professional, scientific and technical activities (21.2%), followed by information and communication (14.7%), real estate operations (6.0%), administrative and support service activities (5.4%), and transportation and storage (3.4%). Only the accommodation and food services sector registered a slight annual decline (0.6%).
