site.btaOne Killed, Two Injured in Drone Attack on Odesa Region

One person was killed and two others injured as a result of Wednesday night’s drone attack on port and industrial infrastructure in Ukraine’s Odesa region, announced here Thursday Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, on Telegram. 

The attack caused damage to administrative and industrial buildings, as well as warehouses. All relevant services are working on the ground to deal with the aftermath of the strike. 

Bulgarians in the Odesa region number more than 150,000 and were the third largest population group in Ukraine in 2001, according to the official census. About 50,000 - 60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
