State-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz proposes that the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) set the price of natural gas for December at BGN 65.24/MWh (EUR 33.36/MWh), excluding access, transmission, excise, and VAT costs, the application published on the EWRC website shows.
The regulator approved a natural gas price for November of BGN 65.82/MWh (EUR 33.65), which means that Bulgargaz has proposed a 0.88% lower price for December.
The company said that its customers have significantly increased the initially submitted orders for December by approximately 266,000 MWh, the main share of the increase comes from requests from regulated customers, Bulgargaz added. As a result, the impact of the delivery price of quantities from Azerbaijan on the final price is significantly reduced due to a decline in their share in the overall price mix, the company said.
