Freedom and Dignity People's Party Elects New Leader
 
 Sofia, November 27 (BTA) - The delegates to the first national congress  of the Freedom and Dignity People's Party (FDPP) elected Orhan Ismailov  as its Chairman on Sunday. The outgoing deputy defence minister is  replacing Korman Ismailov, who will be the party's Deputy Chairman.  
 
 Addressing the congress, Orhan Ismailov outlined the key principles to  which the party has adhered since its establishment. "We founded the  party convinced that we will stand up for the principles of freedom and  dignity for all Bulgarian citizens regardless of ethnic origin,  religion, cultural background, sex and race, regardless of the  differences among us."
 
 The former chairman, Korman Ismailov, delivered a report on the party's achievements in the four years while he was at the helm.
 
 Founded four years ago by defectors from the Movement for Rights and  Freedoms, the FDPP is part of the Reformist Bloc, a junior partner in  GERB's government coalition.
