Kaval player Theodosii Spassov, the Three Tenors of Bulgaria, the Philip Koutev National Folklore Ensemble's Smilena quartet, the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra, and the Radost Folk Ensemble - Children to the Centre for Personal Development Support – Vratsa are the participants in the two festive concerts organized by Vratsa's Regional Administration to mark the 150th anniversary of the outbreak of the April 1876 Uprising.

The two performances will take place on April 27 at the Dramatic - Puppet Theatre auditorium in Vratsa and on April 28 at the House of Energy auditorium in Kozloduy. Through music and the performing arts, the concert will recreate the strength of the Bulgarian spirit and recall the greatness of the sacrifice that led to the attainment of freedom, the regional administration added.

Admission to both events is free. The concerts, funded by the State with EUR 12,000, are held under the patronage of Vratsa Regional Governor Stefan Krasimirov. In early March, the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra performed a concert in celebration of the 65th anniversary of kaval player Theodosii Spassov.
