Vazrazhdane organized a march in memory of those who died in the attack on the Bunovo Station (Western Bulgaria) on March 9, 1985 here on Monday.
The procession was led by Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov, who stressed that the attack on the Bunovo train station should be more widely known and find a place in history textbooks. He pointed out that unlike the Revival Process, which is studied in school, the topic of the attack and what he defined as Turkish terrorism is not studied.
On March 9, 1985, an explosive device was placed in the carriage for mothers with children on the Burgas-Sofia train, killing three children and four women, and seriously injuring nine other people, including two children.
