Ruse (December 17, 2025) - As part of the initiative “14 Centuries of Bulgaria in Europe,” a discussion on 150 years since the 1876 April Uprising and the anniversary of the December 1875 decision by the Giurgiu Revolutionary Committee to proclaim an uprising was held at the BTA National Press Club in Ruse. The forum was the first in a series of events that will continue next year at BTA National Press Clubs in the centers of the four revolutionary districts involved in the uprising: Veliko Tarnovo, Sliven, Vratsa, and Panagyurishte.
