The Bulgarian Embassy in Japan hosted the annual meeting of the Bulgarian Rose Association on June 18, 2025.

During the event, the Association's president, Fumie Yamashita, presented the outcomes of a recent visit to Bulgaria, including discussions with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences on joint research into the properties of the oil-bearing rose.

Ambassador Marieta Arabadjieva expressed appreciation for the Association’s efforts in promoting Bulgarian rose products and cultural exchange between the two countries.
