site.btaSofia Hosts Exhibition Featuring Children's Art from Bulgarian Communities Abroad

An exhibition titled "Bulgaria in My Dreams", featuring artwork by children from Bulgarian communities abroad, opened on Friday at the Sredets House of Culture in Sofia, said the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad (EABA), which organized the event.

The exhibition features drawings by children who were awarded in EABA's 2024 art contest. The young artists come from countries including Moldova, Greece, Czechia, Hungary and Ukraine.

The event is part of the 19th edition of the Muzite (The Muses) International Youth Festival-Contest of Arts, held in partnership with Sofia Municipality, the Sredets House of Culture, the National Palace of Children and the Artin Nigohosyan Foundation.

As part of the festival, visitors will also enjoy musical, theatrical and dance performances. Two Bulgarian ensembles from Moldova will perform in the Dance Art Section.

"This gives children from the Bulgarian community in Moldova the opportunity to visit the capital of Bulgaria, explore its landmarks, and express their creativity on a big stage," the EABA emphasized.
