Rosemary Manchev (piano) and Chris Boyadzhiev (flute) performed at the Musical Treasures from Bulgaria concert series at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, the Bulgarian Consulate General in New York said.

Musical Treasures from Bulgaria is an iconic cultural event of the Bulgarian community in New York, the Bulgarian diplomatic mission noted. Since 1994, the initiative has showcased the achievements of young and talented Bulgarian musicians performing the works of Bulgarian and world composers and is a great example of the preservation of Bulgarian cultural identity.

The traditional musical performance was initiated by the Bulgarian pianist and professor at the Mannes School of Music in New York - prof. Pavlina Dokovska. The initiative is the result of the cooperation between the Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York and the Sts. Cyril and Methodius International Foundation.
