The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) will present a Turkish-language version of its LIK magazine titled BG SPA – Health Through Water at BTA's National Press Club in Ankara on Monday.

The event will be attended by BTA Director General Kiril Valchev, Deputy Tourism Minister Mariela Modeva, Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Turkiye Angel Cholakov, Bulgarian National Radio Director General Milen Mitev, representatives of Bulgaria’s tourism sector, and members of the Bulgarian community in Ankara, among others.

During the presentation of the catalogue, drawings by children from a Sofia art studio depicting Bulgaria and Bulgarian traditions will also be exhibited.

The BG SPA – Health through Water catalogue was produced with the partnership of the Tourism Ministry and support from the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and Spa Tourism (BUBSPA). In the publication, BTA, which marked its 128th anniversary in February, presents news from 128 certified spa, wellness and medical spa centres in Bulgaria.

The catalogue was first published in Bulgarian and English in early May. It was created on the occasion of HEALTHXCHANGE 2026, a high-level European event dedicated to the future of sustainable health tourism, which took place from May 11 to 13 in Varna and the resorts of Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands and Albena. BTA was the event’s main media partner.

In early June, a Romanian-language edition of the catalogue was released and presented by BTA at the Bookfest International Book Fair, held from June 3 to 7 in Bucharest with Bulgaria as the guest of honour.

The Turkish-language version of the catalogue was printed and released last week.
