The spa centre of Hotel 7 Pools SPA & Apartments attracts guests who return every year, hotel manager and co-owner Olga Vinokurova told BTA.
The spa centre offers a wide variety of services – two hammams, a steam bath, a tepidarium, phyto-steam barrels, shock baths, sauna, jacuzzies, a shock bucket, and a salt room. The centre also offers a VIP spa apartment. The complex features several pools – a swimming pool, an indoor children’s pool with a water slide, an outdoor children’s pool, a hot tub for 10 people, an outdoor pool, and an outdoor hot tub. Opportunities for aqua bike and aqua aerobics sessions with specialists are also available to guests, Vinokurova said.
For families with children, the hotel offers a children’s play area, activities and a large playground.
We maintain an automated dosing system and have a brand-new pool maintenance system. The high standard of cleanliness in the hotel and the spa centre is what attracts guests, the hotel manager added. The spa centre offers therapies and massages performed by highly qualified therapists.
The hotel has been in business for eight years and attracts regular guests, which are mainly foreigners. Bulgarian tourists prefer to stay during the summer, the manager said.
"The hotel attracts guests not only with its large spa centre and relaxation facilities, but also with its cosy atmosphere and tranquility," the manager added. The hotel is decorated with photographs of Bansko residents from the past.
Along with winter sports opportunities, Bansko is chosen by tourists seeking a quiet place for relaxation and spa treatments, combining swimming with activities such as hiking, rafting, horseback riding, cycling, paintball, etc, Vinokurova said. The resort town has unique natural features, and the municipality offers a rich cultural and sports programme, she added.
BTA presents news from certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres in Bulgaria in its BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water feature. Their total number exceeds 200. The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to Europe's leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, which will be held from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena. BTA will be the event's main media partner.
