BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Lyuben Ivanov is the top-of-the-list candidate of Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria for Vidin’s 5th multi-member constituency, a reference on the website of the Constituency Election Commission shows.

Lyuben Ivanov was born in 1979 in Vidin. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, where he also obtained an additional master’s degree in European Union Law, Ivanov told BTA. He has been a member of the 48th, 49th, 50th and 51st National Assemblies. He is currently a member of the Committee on Agriculture and the Committee on Labour and Social Policy. In 2022 he was regional governor of Vidin Region. From 2015 to 2022 he was a municipal councillor on Vidin Municipal Council. He speaks English and German.
