Covid-19 Update:
1,713 New Cases,
Test Positivity Rate at 6.04%
Sofia, August 28 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 450,144, after 28,360 tests identified 1,713
new infections on Friday, August 27, according to data posted
on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate for the day
was 6.04 per cent.
The active cases are 27,333. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 3,255, including 298 in intensive care.
Another 344 patients recovered from COVID-19 on Friday, bringing
the total to 404,121. Forty-three fatalities were reported, and
the death toll now adds up to 18,690.
With 12,495 new inoculations in 24 hours, 2,282,245 vaccine
doses have been administered so far. RY/VE
