Eight people have been injured so far IN attacks on Ukraine’s Odesa region, Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said on his Telegram channel.
Kiper said that Russian forces continue to attack civilian infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region and as a result of the strikes, a civilian enterprise was destroyed, where six people were injured.
According to him, Russian forces also damaged port infrastructure facilities, a lyceum, an animal shelter, a private residential building, cars and freight vehicles in the strikes.
“Two more people were injured. Medical assistance is provided to all those affected. The fires that broke out as a result of the strikes have been extinguished by firefighters,” Kiper added. The services are working to deal with the aftermath of the attacks.
More than 150,000 Bulgarians live in the Odesa region, making them the third-largest ethnic group according to Ukraine’s latest official census. Some 50,000–60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian communities are concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
