Seven people were injured according to preliminary information as a result of the morning attack on Ukraine’s Odesa Region, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, said on his Telegram channel on Friday.

"One of the injured is in serious condition. The Russians continue their combined attack on Odesa Region," he said.

Civilian and transport infrastructure facilities were damaged in the attack, the regional governor added.

Bulgarians in the Odesa region number more than 150,000 and are the third largest population group in Ukraine, according to official census data. About 50,000-60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
