Two were killed and 14 injured in an overnight drone attack against the Black Sea city of Odesa, Southern Ukraine, Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said on his Telegram channel.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region evacuated 36 residents, including two children, from the scene, Kiper said.
The consequences of the Russian attack on Odesa include the destruction of residential areas and damage to a merchant ship flying the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis, heading to one of the ports of Greater Odesa. A fire broke out on the ship but was quickly extinguished by the crew. There are no reports of casualties, Kiper said.
According to his information, at least three residential buildings have sustained significant damage. Apartments and facades have been destroyed, and windows have been shattered.
All relevant services are working to address the aftermath of the overnight attack.

About 50,000 - 60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
