The mountains offer good hiking conditions on Monday, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) with the Bulgarian Red Cross told the Bulgarian News Agency. The weather is sunny, with temperatures ranging from 13C and 20C. 

MRS urges tourists to carry more fluids with them, wear hats, and use sunscreen.

Over the past 24 hours, there have been three incidents in the mountains. On Vitosha Mountain, a tourist suffered a broken lower leg and was transported and handed over to an ambulance. Another case involved a tourist with a broken ankle in the Teteven area, who was also handed over to the emergency services. On Sunday morning, a tourist with a leg injury was transported from the Sinanitsa hut in Pirin Mountains. He was taken away by air ambulance.
