The conditions for hiking in the mountains are very good on Monday, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) told BTA.
The weather is clear, very warm, only in the high parts of the Balkan Mountains there is moderate wind.
The MRS advised hikers to take into account the conditions and to beware of overheating.
On Sunday, after 6 pm, a MRs team helped a tourist with a broken leg in the area of the Icy Lake, below Mount Musala. The rescue operation was completed at 9:30 pm.
