Due to fog in the mountains, the use of navigation is recommended. The weather is windy, and in places cold, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) told BTA.

On Thursday morning at 8:30 am, a temperature of one degree was measured on Botev Peak. Therefore, the MRS recommended that tourists bring appropriate clothing with them.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said that the weather on Thursday will be cloudy, going back to sunny in the afternoon in many areas. Isolated short-term precipitation will be present only in the mountains in Southwestern Bulgaria. The weather will remain windy with a moderate, temporarily strong west-northwesterly wind. Highs: 25-30C, 24C in Sofia.
