The weather in the mountains is sunny, clear, calm and warm on Friday morning, according to the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross.

Only at Botev Peak there is stronger wind and fog. Conditions for tourism are good, but resort facilities are not working.

Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. Around and after noon, there will be some clouds, but it will be mostly dry. Light to moderate wind from the north-northwest. Highs at 1,200 metres will be around 22C, and at 2,000 metres, around 15C.
