Representatives of the Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) and the National Revenue Agency (NRA) held an information meeting in Boboshevo (Western Bulgaria) on the introduction of the euro on Wednesday. The event was part of the National Information Campaign for the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria.
During the meeting, basic principles and technical details about the process of switching from leva to euro were explained. The goal of the campaign is to inform people of how prices are indicated so that they can be calm, as well as to get answers to the questions that concern them, said Katerina Sheremeteva, Chief Inspector at the Consumer Protection Commission at the Blagoevgrad Territorial Department.
Information materials related to the introduction of the euro were distributed during the meeting. Employees of the Boboshevo Municipality will also distribute information materials to residents of the villages in the municipality.
