Employees of agencies involved in agriculture will stage a rally demanding worthy pay on July 15, the organizer, the Federation of Independent Trade Unions in Agriculture with the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria, said on Friday.

The rally will take place in front of the Agriculture Ministry building in Sofia from 11 am. Traffic in the area will be blocked.

Employees of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency, the Agriculture Regional Directorates, the Risk Assessment Center on Food Chain, and the Hail Suppression Agency demand a pay rise by at least 15% as of July 1 and guarantees that their salaries will increase further in 2026.
