An international conference entitled "Challenges for Multinational Companies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Artificial Intelligence and Data-Driven Regulations" is taking place on Friday at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Sofia, the organizers from the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (ACB) announced. The forum is organized in partnership with Ingram Micro and with the support of Microsoft. The event starts at 9:30 am.

The topic is highlighted as important given that the work of multinational companies in Europe is affected by the way new data protection regulations are being introduced, by the penetration of artificial intelligence technologies, and by data-driven regulations. European and US companies are also affected by the wave of regulations that the European Commission and the European Parliament are initiating in their current mandate, the forum organisers said.
